Headlines about the novel coronavirus have been booming in the media for more than two years now. There’s been a lot of controversial data released during this time, and some publications have a message to their readers after this nightmare.
As we already noted, it seems that we’re getting closer to the end of this pandemic. How do we know? Well, the WHO addressed the need to lift some measures, and a Pfizer board member talked about the end of this nightmare as well.
The covid pandemic is nearing its end
Itโs been just revealed that an extremely important pharmaceutical executive is saying that pandemic-related restrictions could be relaxed.
This is happening as cases decline in some areas following a surge of the milder Omicron variant.
Dr. Scott Gottlieb is a former director of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and current board member at Pfizer.
โI think certainly on the East Coast, where you see cases declining dramatically, we need to be willing to lean in and do that very soon I think as conditions improve we have to be willing to relax some of these measures with the same speed that we put them in place.โ
This is what he said on CNBC.
Real numbers and misleading data
During the pandemic, the media has been reporting all kinds of numbers about the covid-related deaths and hospitalizations. Still, it turns out that some of them are not precisely accurate. We also reported info about the real covid mortality rate.
There have been a lot of questions about the actual death rate that covid has, with a lot of people showing their skepticism about the numbers that we’re being shown by the media. The debate continues.
Check out a post about an event that took place in Australia. Here, it seems that after someone got shot, the victim got listed as a covid victim. Just take a look at the tweet below.

Most publications continue reporting the numbers without questioning their nature, but there are others who acknowledged their mistakes.
There are various headlines today addressing a Dutch publication that made sure to release apologies to its readers for boosting the covid hysteria.
Apologizing for boosting worldwide hysteria
Western Standard online publication notes that after two years of pushing covid narratives, a Danish newspaper is apologizing for reporting government information without questioning. This has obviously resulted in inaccurate numbers and statements.
โWe failed,โ said Ekstra Bladet, one of Denmark’s largest newspapers.
The statement continued and said:
โFor almost two years, we โ the press and the population โ have been almost hypnotically preoccupied with the authorities daily corona totals.”
The notes also revealed:
โExactly, the official hospitalization numbers have been shown to be 27% higher than the actual figure for how many there are in the hospital, simply because they have corona. We only know that now.โ
It’s a reoccurring trend worldwide that covid number reporting has been misleading, but not too many publications are talking about the issue and you won’t see a lot of headlines about the matter. Anyway, make sure to stay tuned for more news, hopefully optimistic info, and also try your best to remain safe.
