Concerns are growing that humans might have come in contact with some extraterrestrial forms of life. While spotting a UFO doesn’t automatically mean that you’re seeing a flying saucer or any other sort of alien spacecraft, it surely becomes more worthy of attention when you see more and more unusual sightings.
The US Department of Defense seems to take UFO sightings more seriously than ever. According to livescience.com, the Pentagon is participating in the first public hearing regarding such sightings since the 1960s. But that may not even be the most thrilling part.
UFO sightings are frequent
The same source mentioned above reveals that Pentagon officials claim about UFO sightings that they’re ‘frequent and continuing’. For instance, the officials have shown footage of a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) that looks like a sphere. It can be seen as it’s flying across the path of a military jet. The picture was spotted in 2021 through the window of an FA-18 fighter jet.
Chair and Indiana Rep. André Carson explained as livescience.com quotes:
This hearing and our oversight work has a simple idea at its core: Unidentified aerial phenomena are a potential national security threat, and they need to be treated that way.
Did you ever think that UFOs are no big deal? Here’s what else Carson says, according to the same source:
For too long, the stigma associated with UAPs has gotten in the way of good intelligence analysis. Pilots avoided reporting, or were laughed at when they did. DOD officials relegated the issue to the back room, or swept it under the rug entirely, fearful of a skeptical national security community,
Today, we know better. UAPs are unexplained, it’s true. But they’re real. They need to be investigated. And any threats they pose need to be mitigated.
