When you reach the bottom of an ocean, the last thing you would expect to find is something that resembles a human settlement. How could someone possibly build a society at such extreme depths and pressures? But oddly enough, it could be possible if we take a look at what the team behind the Exploration Vessel Nautilus found.
According to Futurism.com, a member of the Corp of Exploration team was amazed after finding something totally unexpected at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Whatever it is, it resembles a ‘yellow brick road’, as you can see for yourself in the video below:
However, there’s no use getting too excited just yet into believing that some alien form of humans is responsible for the unusual sight. The YouTube channel of EVNautilus explains as follows:
What may look like a “yellow brick road” to the mythical city of Atlantis is really an example of ancient active volcanic geology! Our Corps of Exploration have witnessed incredibly unique and fascinating geological formations while diving on the Liliʻuokalani Ridge within Papahānaumokuakea Marine National Monument. At the summit of Nootka Seamount, the team spotted a “dried lake bed” formation, now IDed as a fractured flow of hyaloclastite rock (a volcanic rock formed in high-energy eruptions where many rock fragments settle to the seabed).
Most of the ocean can be considered deep. The ‘deep sea’ is, officially, anything that’s deeper than 200 meters.
Volcanic geology can refer to processes such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, erosion, as well as deposition.
There you have it. We hate to disappoint you, but the ‘yellow brick road’ is not the signature of aliens visiting Earth. But still, that doesn’t mean that aliens don’t exist somewhere out there in the Universe. Maybe aliens exist among us without our knowledge.
