A farmer got killed by 40 crocodiles that had eaten him alive while the man was trying to wrangle one of the animals. The man’s farm where the incident occurred was located in the Siem Reap commune of Cambodia, according to The New York Post.
The farmer, whose name is Luan Nam, was 72 years old at the time of the tragic event. The horrible incident occurred when the farmer entered the enclosure to retrieve an egg-laying crocodile. The situation quickly spiraled out of control as the animal aggressively lunged at the farmer, causing him to stumble and fall into the enclosure. Subsequently, he got overwhelmed by a swarm of crocodiles, tearing his body apart and leaving behind a harrowing scene of bloodshed. Despite pleas from the community to abandon his dangerous occupation, Luan Nam persisted, ultimately meeting a tragic end at the hands of the creatures he once nurtured.
