Type 2 Diabetes: This 14p Fruit should be Eaten as it Helps avoid Rises in Blood Sugar

When the level of sugar in the blood rises too high, Type 2 diabetes happens. This can be caused by a certain food, but this 14- fruit can help prevent the increase in blood sugar.
The person suffering from this condition has a pancreas that can’t produce enough insulin or the one that it produces does not work how it is supposed to.
What insulin does it controls the level of sugar in the blood so the blood sugar levels rise if it can’t do its job properly. This is a severe condition that can do worse to the person’s feet, eyes, kidneys, heart, and nerves.
This condition can’t be left untreated, and one way to avoid further health problems is to swap to a balanced, healthy diet and to consume less sugar.
Aside from the obvious sugary foods, some of them which might look innocent can cause problems to people with diabetes, and those are some carbohydrates.
However, some foods can slow down the level of blood sugar, and that is the banana.
Based on information received from the book “Eat Better Live Longer,” the authors, Dr. Sarah Brewer, and dietician Juliette Kellow mentioned that people should understand what their body needs in order to keep their health right. Bananas are good for people suffering from this condition because they contain a fiber called pectin and resistant starch while unripe.
Both this contains in the banana are able to get the digestion process to slow down along with the absorption of carbohydrates which has to do with a slower and smaller rise in blood sugar.
After consulting the glycaemic index, you can see that the banana scores between low and medium. It all depends on how ripe the banana is.
