Democracy under threat
“The very concept of the democracy that we’ve taken for granted all of our lives is under threat as it never has been before,” lamented Bridgen, at the Citizen’s Initiative against the WHO pandemic treaty.
“And it’s not just in my country; it’s not across Europe. It is across the whole of the world. It’s not from external armies mounding up on our borders this time, but it is from the corruption and the decay of our own institutions are allowing this to happen.”
He went on to say that the WHO now holds a monopoly on public health decisions, with bureaucrats in Geneva at the helm. However, their leadership has been embroiled in scandal after scandal, and external entities now wield the majority of influence in the organization. Notably, Bill Gates, one of the richest individuals in the world, has a significant sway over the WHO. This has led to a “pay-to-play” system.

He argued that any parliament that shirks its responsibilities to its constituents cannot truly be called a parliament and should not hold a seat in any elected assembly.

It is not within our rights to relinquish our sovereignty to the WHO or any other group, as this sovereignty belongs to the people. Every election should be returned to the people’s hands, so they can choose who truly represents them.
