Car enthusiasts have another reasons to get happy. Mercedes Benz has recently offered us some news about its 2019 G-Class model. A new teaser has been released for it, although we don’t really get that much information from it. However, the new details are enough to spark our interest.

In the video we can see the SUV in a blizzard and most of the car is hidden behind the blinding snow. However, we can see some parts of the car that are strategically revealed. Therefore, we manage to notice its slab-sided design and it appears that Mercedes has decided to stay away from the current trends that tend to use smooth shapes.

There have also been some leaked pictures that allow us to admire the car from more angles. As it turns out the exterior will continue to use the traditional form. We can also notice that the driver will receive more leg space as well as some extra space for elbows, and it appears that the interior will also be roomier for the passengers as well. The leather seats will also come with message functions which should make road trips more pleasant.

When will we see the G-Class?

As it turns out, fans and buyers will be able to admire the new car at the 2018 Detroit auto show. So far we already know that the new SUV will come with the 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic. However, there are still many details that continue to be unknown.

For example, there are already a few rumours that say mention a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged M176 V-8, while others seem to believe that a high-output twin-turbo V-6 is more likely. While these things remain unclear, we will be able to get rid of doubts really soon.
