Rockstar has been teasing fans with the future GTA game: GTA VI. According to the information released the game is to be released after Red Dead Redemption 2. GTA VI has a lot to live up to taking into consideration that in its almost 5 years of existence, GTA V has sold over 85 million copies.

The release date for GTA VI?

There was no rush on behalf of Rockstar to release a new game since GTA Online has brought plenty of money from players. The latest update: Doomsday Heist is still cashing in plenty of money. That being said, it is most likely that Rockstar is dedicating most resources to Red Dead Redemption 2 and when finishing with it, more attention will be shifted towards GTAVI. After all the game has to be top-notch to satisfy GTA fans.

Available platform for GTA VI?

Fans wish the future GTA VI to be compatible with both Xbox One and PS4 and most likely it will. For sure the first release will be for PC and then the attention will be shifted towards console versions.

A first-person mode is expected to come as an extra feature for the third-person on from GTA IV and GTA V. Fans would also appreciate if Rockstar creates a female protagonist for the main storyline. The GTA franchise has been severely criticized in the past for its depiction of female characters and this would be the chance to make amends. Besides, a female protagonist is going to be really cool.

Leslie Benzies, Rockstar President has declared that there are some ideas already created for the new GTA game, but they are still exploring. Depending on the idea, the developers will decide the city in which the action will take place. Many hope it will be a new one instead of New York, Miami or LA.
