Is already known that McDonald’s food is not the healthiest food in the world, but on the contrary. However, Japanese researchers found that an element from the McDonald’s fries can treat baldness.
The foods from McDonald’s have always been criticized and ostracized. Experts in nutrition, doctors, and even Jamie Olliver have fought to show people how unhealthy are the notorious McDonald’s foods.
However, a new study found a healthy use for the McDonald’s french fries. Accordingly, there is one ingredient in the fries that can help you get rid of baldness. Indeed, you will not enjoy a rich capillary adornment if you gorge some McDonald’s french fries. However, a chemical compound found in these potatoes is beneficial for people suffering from baldness.
Initial tests on mice have been successful, and researchers believe that the same therapy will work for humans as well.
Scientists at Yokohama National University used dimethylpolysiloxane to treat mice. The Japanese have managed to produce large-scale hair follicles, using dimethylpolysiloxane. With the method now in use, the Japanese managed to create 5,000 follicles simultaneously, which resulted in hair growth after being transplanted into mice.
“The key for the mass production of hair follicle germs was a choice of substrate materials for culture vessel. We used oxygen-permeable dimethylpolysiloxane (PDMS) at the bottom of the culture vessel, and it worked very well,” explained Junji Fukuda, the study’s author and Professor at the Yokohama National University.
All that with only one chemical compound, dimethylpolysiloxane, that is used by McDonald’s for potatoes frying as a safety measure because it prevents the oil to form a foam when heated and to spit on the employees.
Used for hair follicles, the compound provided a miraculous result during the tests, while respecting the natural cycle of hair growth.
Well, even though fast-food eating is not a healthy habit, surprisingly, McDonald’s fries can treat baldness. Actually, dimethylpolysiloxane can do that, which is a chemical found in the oil in which the McDonald’s fries are made.
