You’re trying to lose weight – there are many reasons why you do not feel great into your skin, and you want to change that, it’s understandable. But it’s a long and hard battle and you might need a push from the back. We’ve written this article to give you some tips on how to lose weight fast.
Get a consistent calorie deficit
This is what losing weight means – getting to a consistent calorie deficit. Which means that you need to burn more calories than you actually consume.
Let’s take a clear example: you eat 2500 calories in one day, and burn 3000. This is what calorie deficit means. But, when you burn 3000 and consume 3500, it’s a problem, it’s not calorie deficit anymore. You can lose weight easily if you improve your diet and do more exercises.
Make some diet changes
The problem with exercising is that you do more sport, that’s true, but then you feel the need to eat more, since the energy levels up and you cannot see any results. The key is to adapt to a diet that can help you lose weight, without starving. Keep in mind that all the food has a different energy density. Whole grains, vegetables and fruits have low energy density – this means that you’ll feel like you have eaten enough faster when you eat them, rather than when you eat high energy density foods.
Healthy fats and proteins are the ones that make the blood glucose level be more stable, a thing that keeps you full over a period when you won’t feel the need to eat sugar.
Don’t get rid of all categories of certain foods
A diet does not mean that you have to stop eating certain foods. The best way to lose the weight is to have a balanced diet, without having to starve or to cut off entirely some foods (that you probably love). But if you decide to cut off those certain foods, you have to keep in mind that the diet should be a balanced one, so if you don’t get the nutrients that you need from those foods, you’re going to have to find them in some other place, from other sources.
When you try to become a weightlifter, you won’t have to worry about carbs, but when it comes to losing weight, carbohydrate is the worst enemy. Complex carbs (whole grains, vegetables and beans) release the energy slowly, so they keep you energized. Simple carbs (sugar, pasta) become sugar and they don’t give you enough energy and they also make you feel like you need more. As a general rule, the more simple carbs you eat, the more you’ll destabilize your balance of the calorie deficit.

You can replace pasta with something called courgette, which are spaghetti that are made from spiralizing courgette. There’s really no difference between them, and it will make you feel fuller, even if you don’t consume as many calories. When you eat less calories, your body will go for the fat that you have on your body for the energy that it needs, and it won’t even touch the food that you have eaten.
It’s true, you eat healthily, but it’s not enough. Without doing those additional exercises, you won’t lose the weight fast. Doing sport will make you also feel better and powerful.
A quick tip: if you want to choose a type of exercise, choose the one that you’re going to stick to. Many people choose to run – you don’t have to do it if you know you won’t be able to keep doing it.
