Grand Theft Auto 6 is the upcoming title of the most appreciated game from Rockstar. The game was officially announced by the developers from Rockstar but no official info on gameplay, release date, requirements, and so on.

The GTA 6 Release Date

As I’ve said, there is no official release date.

However, the respected video games market analysts, Michael Pachter, said in an interview that he believes the next GTA will be launched between 2020 and 2022.

Hopefully, the Rockstar will rush it and will release the game earlier.

However…

There’s no reason for Rockstar to release the game fast

The Grand Theft Auto 5 installment is still played massively and the online title, GTA Online is one of the most appreciated games ever and it is massively played worldwide.

According to the NPD Group, the Rockstar earned a lot with GTA 5 as the game has been sold in 85 million copies by the end of 2017.

All these lead to only one conclusion which is not at all the one the gamers would enjoy hearing. Unfortunately, Rockstar has no reason to speed up the GTA 6 developing process because they still have lots of earnings from GTA 5 and GTA Online.

Most probably, the developers will wait until the frenzy with GTA Online has lowered, and just then to hit the market with the new title of the franchise.

GTA 6 gameplay rumors

Not many things are known. The rumors are many but not all seem viable.

According to Leslie Benzies, the ex-president of Rockstar, GTA 6 will recreate “one big world” that will contain all the cities from the previous versions and players will be able to travel from one city to another.

Other rumors say that the main character of the game will be a woman, for the first time in the franchise’s history.

If the future GTA 6 will have one big world or not, is not clear, but I bet that the future release of the franchise will be one of the best games ever.
