The next week will be crucial for journalism worldwide. Why? Because a public hearing will be held at London’s High Court on February 20-21, where two judges will review a previous ruling that refused Assange permission to appeal.

Elon Musk has just posted on X, raising awareness of Assange’s case.

Edward Snowden highlights the importance of Assange’s case and blasts MSM for its silence

Edward Snowden also shared his thoughts on X, asking for justice for Assange. He also made sure to highlight the fact that the MSM is not covering the issue, although it’s crucial to worldwide journalism.

A follower said: “Thank you posting so much about this. I haven’t followed the case in a while but you’ve sparked my interest! Freedom of the press should never be trampled with legal proceedings. Although this is obviously muddy, to say the least.”

Someone else left this very true comment: “The fact that every media outlet isn’t fighting for one of their peers tells you it’s not about the truth to them. Turned on their own when it mattered most to protect their access.”

It’s beyond evil. This is still being done to him because he exposed US war crimes and not because of anything else. And that the UK system was fine with trying to extradite him on ZERO charges the first time.

Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, is facing his final legal challenge to prevent his extradition from the UK to the US, where he is wanted on criminal charges.

Here are the results of the latest Australian parliament votes:

This is definitely an enlightened step towards upholding justice and protecting freedom of the press. Let us hope for a world where truth can shine brightly, unobstructed by the shadows of oppression and fear.

Assange is a global hero, and he should be free.

In 2010, WikiLeaks released hundreds of thousands of classified files and diplomatic cables without authorization. This was the largest security breach of its kind in the history of the U.S. military. According to U.S. prosecutors, this leak put the lives of agents mentioned in the leaked material in danger.

Assange is a hero who exposed U.S. wrongdoing, and his persecution is an attack on journalism and free speech.

Assange spent seven years in Ecuador’s embassy in London before being jailed in 2019 for violating bail conditions.

Currently, his extradition case is under review, and his lawyers have filed an application to the European Court of Human Rights, which has the power to halt his extradition.

“The last four and a half years have taken the most considerable toll on Julian and his family, including our two young sons,” said his wife Stella, whom he married in prison.

“The persecution of this innocent journalist and publisher must end.”

The Guardian reported on the case today.

Julian is in prison for being a true journalist. Shame on the MSM for not reporting about the crucial events set to take place next week and for not offering their COLLEAGUE JOURNALIST support! Journalists should be a huge family – tied to one another not by blood but by the same thirst for TRUTH and JUSTICE for the world.
