Aimia Shares Plunged Fifty Seven –  Air Canada Launching its Own Loyalty Program

The TSX is down forty six points this morning with financials posting the largest losses.

Loyalty cards supplier Aimia (AIM.TO) is on a commerce halt when shares plunged fifty seven. Air Canada (AC.TO) declared that it plans to launch its own loyalty program. Action Economics says that ratings agency Moody’s has downgraded six Canadian banks, citing high shopper liability and a hot realty market.

The largest gainer thus far is healtcare, up 0.50% and miners, up 0.38%.
