6 Tips for Keeping Your Eyes Healthy

Eyes give you the wonder of vision, but ignoring symptoms or avoiding check-ups could result in pain and deteriorating sight. For this reason, it’s crucial to stay on top of your eyes’ health, and here are six tips for doing that.

  1. Get the Correct Prescription

One of the biggest causes of eye strain is incorrect glasses or contact prescription. Your sight changes over the years, so the prescription you were given when you were younger won’t necessarily be right for you now. Other symptoms of a wrong prescription include squinting and headaches, so if you are experiencing those, it’s best to schedule an eye-test.

You might think of eye drops and protective gear when you think of eye health, but food plays a role in it, too. Keep a balanced diet by consuming enough vitamins and omega-three for optimal eye health. Some of the best foods for this include:
