To mark its 50th anniversary, the Western de Saint-Tite Festival asked Renée Martel to design the album 50 years of country & Rodeo, which will be released tomorrow.
Besides Renée Martel, a dozen other singers, including Brigitte Boisjoli, Paul Daraïche, Guylaine Tanguay, Isabelle Boulay and Robby Johnson take back songs that marked the festival. Most of these artists will also be performing in Saint-Tite on September 16th.
In addition, the fifth Country Gala, hosted by MC Gilles, will reward artists and artisans of country music on October 14th at the Casino de Montréal.
The public can vote once per day by 3 June in each of the categories on the gala site and these votes will represent 40% of the final score.
