Scientists have developed an anti-obesity drug that melts fat cells without suppressing appetite. The miracle drug has reduced body weight and cholesterol in mice that became obese after a specific diet. Practically, it accelerates the metabolism of fat cells. The cells will find it harder to accumulate fat.
The drug will stop the metabolism slowdown. In just 10 days, mice lost 7% of the initial weight, and the percentage of fat fell by 30%.Moreover, cholesterol levels have reached normal levels, even though they haven’t changed their diet.
In a previous study, doctors turned fat cells into stem cells to regenerate human compromised tissue. First, fat cells are harvested in the body, then transformed into adult stem cells, using growth factors.
