On August 23, President Biden’s chief medical advisor declared for CNN that he believes the pandemic can be controlled in the U.S in the spring of 2022. This will be the case if more Americans get vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, around 90 million. Dr. Fauci apologized for predicting that the pandemic would be controlled in the fall of 2022. He just misspoke by error, and he meant to say the spring of 2022, not the fall.

The vaccination campaign in the U.S began more than eight months ago, and the President’s chief medical advisor is confident that things can improve if more people get vaccinated. Controlling the Covid-19 virus means for Dr. Fauci that a shield protecting the community will exist thanks to the vaccination. In addition, there will be fewer restrictions. It does not mean the virus will be eliminated, but things could get close to normal. People could go to restaurants or the cinema, or even enjoy concerts.

Yesterday, the FDA gave Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine full approval. The vaccine already had emergency authorization, but after analyzing data from more than 44,000 people, the full approval has arrived. Many Americans declared in the past that they were reluctant to inoculation because the Covid-19 vaccines available in the U.S: Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson, did not have full approval from the FDA. The full approval of the Pfizer vaccine guarantees that the jab is safe and effective.
The Pentagon issued a no-option mandate for active service members. President Biden declared that he wants all active military staff inoculated by mid-September. New York City decided to issue the first no-option mandate for public workers, including teachers, school staff, and police officers. San Francisco also wants vaccine mandates, as well as Pasadena, California. Many big corporations have already issued vaccine mandates, but not all are no-option. In some companies, unvaccinated employees can wear a mask and go through regular testing.
I have just tested positive for covid. Thankfully, I am vaccinated. I am hoping this will keep me alive. I did all the right things, but it still got me. I believe I got it from school starting up with NO mask mandate. Now all children are being infected and put in danger because their parents and politicians are fighting an ignorant battle and power struggle over politics, misinformation, and ignorance. It’s a mask people. A simple solution to a deadly situation. If people are to selfish, ignorant, misguided, or just being a right fighter looking for a reason to hate and protest, then the decision to follow simple guidelines should be made for them. Mandate everything. They are putting lives in danger. Maybe Jimmy Kimmel is right about only vaccinated patients get an ICU bed. And the unvaccinated live, or die with their decision to not mask, distance, vaccinate. Their selfish decisions are spreading, and killing other Americans, including our children. Millions of Americans have shown just how weak, selfish, and ignorant they are by refusing simple solutions that saves lives, maybe your own, or your children, or your parents. At this rate, chances are, you will kill yourself or someone around you. This virus will continue to mutate, like the delta, mu, lambda, variants, and it WILL continue to kill. So, when you or your loved ones finally figure out what the rest of us already know, I hope it will not be too late for you, your children, your parents, your coworkers, friends. Just do the humane act of getting vaccinated and wearing a damn mask. The vaccine has not killed anyone, and neither has wearing a mask. Stop whining about the gross horrors of wearing a mask. It makes you look weak and ignorant.
