The humans and every other being is not designed to endure pain at greater levels. Most of us try to find an alternative that could pull us out from a certain situation that might cause us pain. It is actually the reason why many people did that when they faced one the great demon: cancer.

Normally when people hear about cancer they immediately associate it with terrible things like lack of hair, prolonged hospital visits, painful surgeries and treatments that might or might not work for the ones who try them. It’s only natural to try to get treatment that doesn’t include all these things, but that doesn’t mean it is more effective.

The scary thing is that people began looking for alternative ways of treating cancer while studies clearly prove that alternative medicine in cancer cases is not effective. Moreover, the chances of dying are increased if the person with cancer refuses to apply classic remedies recommended by the doctor. Many studies regarding this issue have been made by researchers in order to open the eyes of the people.

Most of the people claim that they heard that a certain cancer diet, acupuncture, natural herbs, exercises, Tai Chi or similar things could make them cancer free. Surely a certain diet that implies healthy eating habits might gain people’s trust, it’s just eating healthy and that cannot harm anyone. But choosing this “miraculous diet” involves wasting time while waiting to see if something has changed regarding the cancer issue. You are actually giving the disease more time to become unbeatable. Because the cancerous cells divide and eventually mutate. So, all of these alternatives that treat cancer in a way that doesn’t imply classic medicine are all just false rumors.

Chemotherapy, surgical interventions, these are the things that still remain one of the most effective ways to stop cancer in a certain stage.
