Top Oligarch Claims That Vladimir Putin Suffers From Cancer

Since Ukraine’s invasion started back in late February, Vladimir Putin has become one of the most hated men alive. A top oligarch now brings the claim that will make a lot of people happy.

According to Mirror, the oligarch has reportedly been recorded, while speaking to a Western venture capitalist, as saying that the President of Russia is “very ill with blood cancer.” The oligarch’s identity wasn’t revealed for reasons that are obvious: for his own safety.

What exactly is the blood cancer that Putin allegedly suffers from?

If the oligarch’s claim is true and Vladimir Putin does suffer from blood cancer, it means that the Russian leader is most likely dealing with leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. These are some of the most common types of blood cancers.

The oligarch is not the only person claiming that Putin is ill. In recent days, other voices said the same, and they have some apparently strong reasons to believe likewise. The Russian President was seen in public using a blanket during the Victory Day that took place a few days ago in Moscow. Also, the fact that he met other political leaders at a long table also contributed to the rumors that Putin might be indeed suffering from an illness.

The oligarch was also heard to not be a fan of Putin’s decision of starting the war with Ukraine. The oligarch said as Mirror quotes:

He absolutely ruined Russia ’s economy, Ukraine ’s economy and many other economies — ruined [them] absolutely,

The problem is with his head. … One crazy guy can turn the world upside down.

Meeting other political leaders at a long table might only prove an extra level of precaution for the COVID pandemic, some might say. But such a level of precaution would be exaggerated unless Putin already suffers from a disease that could make him even more vulnerable in the face of the coronavirus. Therefore, here’s another reason to believe that the rumor might be true.
