Several facts around the COVID-19 disease were always considered suspicious by conspiracy theorists and even other categories of people. The high infectiousness, the ability to affect elders more than those from other age groups, or the lack of medicine capable of treating it has all led to a terrible scenario: was the coronavirus created by an evil mind rather than being just an accident of nature or a divine penalty?

The Science Times writes about how Danielle Anderson, who is a coronavirus expert working in the past at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, decided to speak out. She presents a pretty different scenario from what most people are expecting.

COVID-19 leak from Wuhan lab is possible, but not caused deliberately

Danielle Anderson says that there’s a possibility for the virus to have leaked from the lab, but at the same time, she says the scenario is extremely doubtful. She adds that an elaborated investigation into the origin of COVID-19 is needed.

Danielle Anderson is also convinced that the virus wasn’t purposely made to infect humans and be released into the world. The scientist reveals that although she doesn’t have any idea of what the researchers from the lab were examining at the time, she doesn’t rule out the possibility of one of the scientists becoming infected with the coronavirus.

According to a report made by The Sun, Danielle Anderson was working at the WIV (Wuhan Institute of Virology) only several weeks before the first cases of COVID infections were identified in China. Therefore, the scientist’s claims present pretty high credibility.

According to worldometers.info, the COVID pandemic has caused a total of over 182.7 million infections throughout the world and more than 3.9 million deaths.
