The CDC Issues a Ban on Dogs From 113 Countries

Although many of us are in love with dogs, as their company could become a precious gift, we can’t neglect that these animals also have their dark side. Rabies represents a strong argument, the virus that usually causes death and that can arrive into a person’s body through a dog bite.

Gizmodo reveals that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issues a temporary ban on dogs coming to the US from more than 100 countries. The new policy will suspend the importation of the animals to the US from 113 countries The reason is represented by an increased risk of rabies.

Importation of dogs will be suspended on July 14

The full list of countries, according to the CDC, goes as following:
