Scented products are present everywhere in your daily life but, according to a new research, they are thought to be responsible for health problems in 1 in 3 people.

An Australian researcher has conducted a study, recently published in the journal Preventive Medicine Reports, which concluded that scented products that you use in your daily life, have a negative impact on your health.
Deodorants, detergents, household products, and other cosmetics are thought to be responsible for 1 in 3 people’s health problems. The cause of these health disorders is related to the composition of these products.
It turns out that scented products emit dangerous chemical pollutants.
These pollutants, unfortunately, are also present in organic products
Anne Steinemann, the author of the study conducted tests on a group of 1098 people. She found out that 7.7% of them made a reaction to scented products. The affected ones had to take some time off from work to recover.
On the other hand, 16.7% of the participants expressed their desire to get out of the places where the scented products are put when they smell them.
The engineering professor also found even more frightening statistics, namely, 33% of the respondents have health problems related to the exposure to these scented products.
1 in 3 people presented serious health disorders related to scented products
The scented products to which you expose yourself daily have caused health problems for some. The disorders are varied, including breathing difficulties, asthma, and headaches. Others also reported rashes, dizziness, nausea, and even convulsions.
Researcher Anne Steinemann explains, in a statement from the University of Melbourne, that “the effects can be immediate, severe and potentially disabling.”
Take precautions when you must expose yourself to these scented products. And, when it comes to cleaning, nothing is better than the good old trick of preparing a solution with baking soda and white vinegar.
