While the world is waiting for a viable vaccine against the novel coronavirus, people are also hanging on to the idea of some good treatments. These are also effective in our battle with the new virus that managed to change our lives probably for good.

It’s been revealed that there’s some great news in the pipeline for those eagerly waiting for it.

New treatments to reach us in a few days

The White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows just said the other day that he is “hopeful” that within a few days there will be an announcement on new treatments for COVID-19, as reported by the online publication New York Post

“We’re hopeful that, with some of the breakthrough technology on therapeutics, that we will be able to announce some new therapies in the coming days,” he stated during an interview with ABC News.

He spent the past weekend working with Republican senators in order to draft a stimulus bill that is able to offset the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic. He did not say exactly what new therapies are reportedly on their way.

Good news around the corner

“I’m hopeful that, in the next couple of days, that we will have some very good news on the therapeutic and vaccine fronts, as we try to address this China virus,” he said.

It’s been also revealed more than once that there’s a race to develop a viable vaccine and this is projected to be finalized by the end of this year, says Anthony Fauci, White House coronavirus task force member.

Speaking of good news, not too long ago, we revealed that there’s one new potential treatment for the novel coronavirus. More than that, it’s important to mention the fact that an Italian infectious disease expert believes that the virus is becoming less and less dangerous, and it could eventually disappear without a vaccine, on its own.
