60 percent of Americans have been infected with COVID
According to The New York Times, new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) claims that about 60 percent of Americans have had the coronavirus already by February 2022. Among them, there are three-quarters of children.
The news shouldn’t surprise anyone, as the US is easily the most affected country in the world by the COVID pandemic. The stats brought by worldometers.info confirm it – since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 82.9 million infections and over one million deaths caused by the coronavirus were reported by the US.
However, the US has reported fewer infections with the virus in the last weeks, which made many believe that the light from the end of the tunnel is close.
