The USA keeps fighting the COVID pandemic in various sorts of ways. As vaccination is a vital part of the process, the officials and medical researchers strongly rely on it to defeat the coronavirus. A state order was issued for healthcare workers to get vaccinated, and hospitals from New York already began firing or suspending those who don’t want to comply, according to Reuters.

JoAnne Cavanaugh, who is a spokesperson for Catholic Health, reveals that all of the staff from the company has been obedient to the vaccination order. There were also some exemptions and staff suspended without pay. The healthcare company was also forced to delay some of the elective surgeries.

Peter Cutler, who is a spokesperson for Erie County Medical Center from Buffalo, declared as quoted by Reuters:

We had to make a decision as to where we could temporarily make some changes so that we could ensure other areas of services are as little affected as possible.

Financially, it’s a big deal.

Dr. Mitchell Katz, who is the head of NYC Health + Hospitals, reveals that about 5,000 employees from public hospitals of New York City aren’t vaccinated for COVID.

While there are a lot of misconceptions about the vaccination for the coronavirus, the science behind the jabs is there to contradict them. Dr. Anthony Fauci, who’s one of the top infectious disease experts, said that getting a third COVID dose signifies the “optimal regimen”. YouTube even prepares to ban a lot of vaccine anti-vaxxers.

While some people are skeptical about receiving a COVID vaccine, others are even disposed to drive a long way to get injected. It’s also the case of a US teacher who drove roughly 100 miles to get vaccinated for the coronavirus.

How do you think the overall situation regarding the vaccine will evolve? Feel free to tell us in a comment!
