Herbs and Natural Remedies That Fight Against All Types Of Cancer

There are many plants and herbs all over the world which can be highly benefic for humans. There are also many species which have not been discovered yet or are not as famous. Also, most of us have no idea that we can use these plants to fight cancer. Some of these include:

Huang Qi (Astragalus)

This Chinese herb is known to stimulate the body’s interferon and to boost the immune system. It helps the immune system identify rogue cells and so far the herb has been used in cancer and AIDS treatments.

Turmeric (curcumin)

A major study has already been made on the effects of the turmeric on cancer by Cancer Watch. This herb boosts the immune system, stops cancer metastases and reduces the size of tumors. It seems to be very effective on breast cancer and it is also anti-oxidant and anti-microbial.


This plant is also known as a great help for the immune system and it is mostly used to treat colds. It seems it is especially useful for brain tumors because it increases the levels of white cells in the body.

Uncaria tormentosa (Cat’s claw)

This plant is very powerful and excellent to stimulate the immune system by enhancing the clean up process of white cells, known as phagocytosis. It works very well combines with the astragalus herb, curcumin and Echinacea.


Researchers from Rochester University in New York have been studying this herb and found it is more effective than cytarabine in the killing of leukemia cells. The FDA has added this herb in its fast track program, making this the first plant to be approved for using in cancer treatment.

Sanguinaria Canadensis (Bloodroot)

According to research this plant shows anti-neoplastic activity. It is believed the plant is effective against cancer tumors and that it can also help shrink them. It is also benefic with breast and skin cancers.
