Many authorities from the world firmly believe that imposing COVID vaccination in one way or another is a good idea. But a significant part of the population is against such measures, and they didn’t hesitate to show it in the latest weeks.

We have to say right from the start that our publication isn’t in favor of either of the two sides. According to The Hill, vast amounts of people marched across European capital cities to manifest their discontent against COVID restrictions and rules.

Vaccination certificates and other COVID protocols are targeted

Those who are upset have been protesting against vaccination certificates as well as other COVID protocols in cities such as Paris, London, Athens, Stockholm, Helsinki, and so on.

For instance, in France, the authorities prepare to impose a more aggressive COVID-19 pass. It includes that those citizens who aren’t vaccinated cannot access venues such as cinemas, bars, and even in-country flights. As a result, protesters demanded the revocation of the rule in Paris and other cities of France.

In the Belgian capital Brussels, the protests led to awful scenes, unfortunately, near the headquarters of the European Union, as France24 reveals. The police choose to use a water cannon and tear gas.

Those who still choose to be skeptical when it comes to the safety of the COVID vaccines are lacking trust in the authorities and the health system. They’re also invoking the side effects of the vaccines or even conspiracy theories, and so on.

There are plenty of studies on the efficacy of the COVID vaccines. One of them shows that the shots have no effect on fertility for either men or women.

We’re eagerly waiting to see how the situation regarding the tensions across Europe will continue, and hopefully, nobody will get hurt anymore.
