The mandatory covid 19 vaccines became a spiny subject lately, with more and more people debating it.
People are questioning important issues, and freedom of choice is one of them. Amidst the pandemic, the necessity of making vaccination mandatory for everyone has already become a spiny subject. CNN is also addressing the issue, as you will see below.
Not too long ago, we revealed that the FDA had approved the Pfizer/ BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for people age 16 and older.
CNN notes that following this move, it’s time for all governments across the country to mandate the vaccine for people taking part in indoor activities.
“There are no more valid excuses for not being vaccinated other than health reasons,” CNN notes.
Now, it’s been revealed that according to a recent survey, most of the US companies might be asking for mandatory covid 19 vaccines.
US companies and mandatory covid 19 vaccines
Reuters press agency just revealed that more than half of the US companies are planning to impose the covid 19 vaccine mandates in the workplace by the end of 2021.
It’s also been reported that almost a quarter of the companies that have been interviewed in the survey are considering vaccination as a condition for employment, according to a national survey of nearly 1,000 employers.
The number of covid 19 cases has been during at a fast pace, and this is spurred by the highly contagious Delta coronavirus variant that has strained the U.S. health care system.
Amidst this gloomy scenery, many companies have come out with mask mandates and changed their vaccination policies.
“Google’s parent Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O), Walmart Inc (WMT.N), and Goldman Sachs Group Inc (GS.N) are among the growing list of employers requiring some or all staff to get the vaccine,” Reuters notes.
