As we already reported, dr. Anthony Fauci has been faced with an intense trial in which the accusations involving covid-related actions are pouring against him.
The latest Senate hearing of dr. Anthony Fauci and the director of the Centers for Disease Control Rochelle Walensky has been making headlines all over the place.
The hearing is on the federal response to Omicron. The officials have been faced with questions about muddled messaging, shifting pandemic guidelines, and the Biden administration’s plan for increased coronavirus testing.
Fauci talked about the federal response to covid variants.
Check out what he said about Omicron below.
“Omicron, with its extraordinary, unprecedented degree of efficiency of transmissibility, will ultimately find just about everybody.”
This is what Dr. Anthony Fauci told J. Stephen Morrison, senior vice president of the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
“Those who have been vaccinated … and boosted would get exposed. Some, maybe a lot of them, will get infected but will very likely, with some exceptions, do reasonably well in the sense of not having hospitalization and death.”
Fauci vs. Rand Paul
It’s also extremely important to mention the fact that dr. Anthony Fauci was accused by Senator Rand Paul of using the coronavirus pandemic for his own political gain.
The heated exchange between Paul and Fauci, who currently serves as both the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden, began with Paul’s contention that Fauci had used his position to smear other epidemiologists who disagreed with his opinions on how the federal government should respond to the pandemic.
Fauci wraps his latest back-and-forth with @RandPaul by arguing Paul and critics are threatening his life and “making a catastrophic epidemic for your political gain” because he wants to amass political donations. (6/6) pic.twitter.com/fj2f71c6ow

“The idea that a government official like yourself would claim unilaterally to represent science and that any criticism of you would be considered a criticism of science itself is quite dangerous,” Paul said.
He was hinting at the fact that Fauci orchestrated a “published takedown” of scientists who advocated a more measured and targeted response to the pandemic.
