Anthony Fauci Drops Exciting News About The Holidays

We’ve been living in a nightmare for almost two years now. Reality as we used to know it has changed drastically, and nothing seems to be what it once was.

Our lives are currently governed by fear and uncertainty and things seem gloomier and gloomier during this fall.

But now, it seems that better days could come especially for the vaccinated individuals.

Dr. Anthonhy Fauci drops exciting news for vaccinated people

Yahoo News writes in a recent article that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, says that fully vaccinated individuals can enjoy the upcoming holiday season.

“If you’re vaccinated and your family members are vaccinated…you can enjoy the holidays. You can enjoy Halloween, trick-or-treating, and certainly Thanksgiving with your family and Christmas with your family,” Fauci said on ABC News’ “This Week.”

These optimistic comments come after he said “it’s too soon to tell” if holiday gatherings were safe, noting that the focus should be on lowering the infections earlier this month.

Here’s what Fauci had to say:

“That’s one of the reasons why we emphasize why it’s so important to get vaccinated not only for your own safety, for that of your family, but also for the good of the community to keep the level of infection down.”

It’s worth noting the fact that during the interview on Sunday, he emphasized that being vaccinated for the holidays could help keep cases down.

This is what Dr. Murtaza Akhter, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix Emergency Physician told Yahoo Finance Live in an interview.

“My concern is with the holidays coming up, we know people will congregate. They did last year and they’re definitely going to do it again this year,” he added.

Stay tuned for more news and make sure to remain safe, you and your loved ones as well.
