Natural remedies can cure parasite infections

When a person discovers that they have a parasite infection, the first thought that comes to mind is how to get rid of it as quickly as possible. Typically, antiparasitic drugs are prescribed in conventional medicine for this purpose.

However, these drugs can have negative long-term side effects and are not the preferred treatment in holistic medicine.

If you are facing issues with parasites, then it’s best to avoid dairy, sugar in any form, and processed foods. Here’s what you need to know about your diet during parasite cleansing.

Diet during parasite cleansing

Vegetables: During the parasite cleanse, it is recommended to only consume cooked vegetables. Baking, roasting, steaming, or sautéing are the best ways to prepare them.

Avoid boiling as it reduces the nutritional value. Stay away from vegetables with high sugar content such as corn, sweet peas, and potatoes. Instead, opt for vegetables with a low glycemic index like bell peppers, cabbage, asparagus, onions, tomatoes, artichokes, broccoli, mushrooms, green beans, zucchini, Brussels sprouts, and cucumber.

Fruits: Since fruits are high in sugar, it’s best to consume them in moderation. Small amounts of fruit sugars can attract parasites into the digestive tract, making antiparasitic herbs more effective. Avoid canned or cooked fruits and opt for fresh ones instead.

When cleansing your body from parasites, certain foods should be prioritized and others avoided. Recommended fruits include citrus fruits like lemons, limes, oranges, and grapefruits, as well as apples, pears, avocados, cherries, prunes, plums, strawberries, and peaches.

As for meats, prioritize high-quality options such as grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, wild-caught fish, veal, and lamb.

You can also include pasture-raised eggs in your diet as an excellent source of nutrient-dense protein. While cleansing, it’s best to avoid grains or consume them in limited quantities as they contain starches.

When it comes to sugars, consume very limited amounts of raw honey, pure monk fruit, or stevia. Avoid adding any processed sugars to your diet.

Finally, make sure to drink plenty of water, at least half your body weight in ounces each day, to help flush out toxins.
