It has been revealed the fact that the most common chronic symptoms following COVID-19 vaccination are a lot. Check out the following reports about the matter below.

Chronic symptoms following COVID-19 vaccination

According to a recent study, people who experienced chronic symptoms after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine reported exercise intolerance, excessive fatigue, numbness, brain fog, and neuropathy as the most common symptoms.

The study, which was partly funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), also found that at least half of the participants experienced other symptoms such as insomnia, palpitations, myalgia, tinnitus, headache, burning sensations, and dizziness. The participants reported a median of 22 symptoms, with a maximum of 35.

The study focused on people “who report a severe, debilitating chronic condition following COVID-19 vaccination” that “began soon after COVID-19 vaccination and persisted in many people for a year or more,” the researchers said.

Dr. Harlan Krumholz and Yilun Wu led a study from Yale’s Listen to Immune, Symptom and Treatment Experiences Now (LISTEN) research.

The study examined long COVID and post-vaccine adverse events. Participants filled out a survey and gave access to their health records. Results showed that 93% felt unease, 80% felt fearful, and 81% felt overwhelmed by worries in the week before completing the survey.

Participants in a recent study reported experiencing feelings of helplessness, depression, hopelessness, and worthlessness. Additionally, nearly all of the group felt rundown and 91 percent reported suffering from sleep problems.

On a positive note, half of the participants reported being in good, very good, or excellent condition. However, the rest reported fair, poor, or unknown status.

Most of the symptoms began soon after vaccination, with the median time of symptom onset being three days.

The majority of people, 77 percent, experienced the symptoms after their first or second shot. The study followed an NIH-authored paper that detailed 23 people experiencing persistent symptoms following COVID-19 vaccination.

Several participants in the new study received new diagnoses after receiving a vaccine, including anxiety, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal issues, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.
