Fauci released pretty unsettling news about the coronavirus pandemic.
Yahoo News notes that Fauci believes that lockdowns the country saw last year are not likely to return, but he warned “things will get worse” during an interview on ABC’s “This Week.”
“I don’t think we’re gonna see lockdowns. I think we have enough of the percentage of people in the country — not enough to crush the outbreak — but I believe enough to not allow us to get into the situation we were in last winter. But things are going to get worse.”
The expert reveals more worrisome news
The expert seems to be filled with bad news about the virus these days.
India Today online publication just revealed that Fauci said this past Sunday that more “pain and suffering” is on the horizon as Covid-19 cases climb again and officials plead with unvaccinated Americans to get their shots.
“So we’re looking, not, I believe, to lockdown, but we’re looking to some pain and suffering in the future because we’re seeing the cases go up, which is the reason why we keep saying over and over again, the solution to this is get vaccinated and this would not be happening.”
