This highly transmissible Delta variant of the coronavirus, which is causing the disease Covid 19, will soon become the dominant strain globally in the upcoming months.

It’s been just revealed by CNBC that the World Health Organization officials said they are still trying to understand the Delta variant. More than that, the Northeast will likely experience another jump in Covid cases tied to the highly transmissible delta variant, Dr. Scott Gottlieb said.

Anthony Fauci addresses the new Mu covid variant

Anthony Fauci has been making lots of headlines lately while he was addressing the latest news about covid and the novel coronavirus.

The new coronavirus variant “mu” is not at the moment posing a great risk to Americans, Fauci revealed. Check out what he said:

“We’re paying attention to it, we take everything like that seriously, but we don’t consider it an immediate threat right now.”

Fauci continued and said the following:

“This variant has a constellation of mutations that suggests that it would evade certain antibodies, not only monoclonal antibodies, but vaccine- and convalescent serum-induced antibodies.”

He also said:

“But there isn’t a lot of clinical data to suggest that, it is mostly laboratory in-vitro data. Remember, even when you have variants that do diminish somewhat the efficacy of vaccines, the vaccines still are quite effective against variants of that time,”
