The pancreas is an extremely complex organ that also performs the role of a gland. Although it is more known because it secretes insulin and is therefore involved in the metabolism of sugar, the pancreas also contains pancreatic juice that reaches the digestive tract.
How to protect your pancreas?
1. Crucifixes
Recent studies have shown that they have amazing anti-cancer properties and that they also protect against tumors of the pancreas. Consume broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage twice a week. Avoid them if you have a thyroid problem.
2. Do not smoke!
Smoking affects many organs and is extremely harmful. So it’s no surprise that smokers have an increased risk of pancreatic cancer.
3. Give up on unhealthy foods
What are the unhealthy foods? I think you already know: bread, sausages, sugar, white flour and carbonated drinks. If you can’t give up everything, try to consume less. This will protect your entire body, not just the pancreas.
