The subjects lost 3.5 pounds on average, and their waist circumference decreased by 0.5 cm. The scientists advise people to change foods that are rich in fat with those that do not have the same quantity of fat. This way, people who tried to change this did not cut down on the amount of food but altered a little bit what food they consumed.

The first adjustment to make is to go from high-fat foods to low-fat foods. You should substitute fat yogurt and milk to their low-fat counterparts. Also, eliminating the fat from the meat is also a good idea. Another change that is going to pay off is that snacks should be comprised of fruits, which have low fats detrimental to cake and biscuits.

The study found out that when people consumed less fat, their weight decreased and became healthier as low fat means low cholesterol levels and low blood pressure.
