The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a car that has been around for quite some time. It managed to evolve a lot in the past and it continues to develop even more each year. Next year a new model is supposed to come out. If you are curious about the upcoming car, here are some details that we can share with you already.

G-Mode

Drivers can also expect another drive mode, the G-mode, and this one can be activated when low range or one of the three differentials becomes engaged. Off-road driving will become easier thanks to this mode, as the steering, gearing and the accelerator will all be tuned.

Design changes

It appears that even the classic old box design will come with a few surprises. Usually, there are no changes when it comes to this design, but it appears that this time there will be a few things that will suffer modifications.

First of all, the headlight and the grille design won’t be the same, and behind the usual aspect there will be numerous new parts that can not be found on older models. The new frame is 34 stiffer, and now there is an independent suspension and there will be a double wishbone front architecture as well.

Updated interior

In 2019, drivers can also expect some important changes when it comes to the interior. First of all, there will now be a cockpit that will be entirely digital. There will be a huge COMMAND central screen and the center console will have the latest version of the controller.

There will be a touch-sensitive pad that can be used exactly as a track pad and drivers will be able to write data and numbers with their fingers.
